Intrepid duo impress Littlehampton Rotarians
LITTLEHAMPTON Rotary Club welcomed Callum Block and Tim Spencer, to report on their participation in the 2013 Rotary Young Leadership Awards event at High Ashurst Activity Centre, Box Hill, Surrey.
They described, with a slide show, the various activities, including making a raft capable of supporting six people, kayaking, climbing various challenging heights and a six-mile hike in heavy snow.
Callum and Tim were each presented with a certificate.
Club president Geoff Watts told them: “Congratulations on successfully completing this course, and hopefully your experiences will stand you in good stead for the future.”
