IT'S A BONANZA

Two of Britain's brightest speedway prospects will be battling it out on track just before Christmas.

Edward Kennett from Magham Down and Lewis Bridger, from Bexhill, will be taking part in the Brighton Bonanza meeting.

Promoters of the event, Jon Cook and Martin Dugard, build a track inside the Brighton Centre and put on two meetings in a day.

The first is a pairs event - won last year by Kennett and Bridger and in the evening an individual meeting - won in 2005 by Kennett.

They will be up against some top-line opposiiton, including Josh Auty, Oliver Allen and Americans, Chris Kerr, Charlie Venegas and Sergey Darkin.

The final line-up is yet to be confirmed but it would be suprised if veterans Bobby Schwartz and Bobby McConnell are not brought back.
