Jiving at the Northiam Hop

The event was organised to raise funds towards the upkeep of Hall.

Geoff Poyton, from the Showtimers, said: “The hall looked amazing with even a full size mini car and juke box. There were some brilliant costumes along with fabulous music and archived video footage from the era.

“All who attended had a great time, but we were disappointed at the poor support from the village.”

The Showtimers are putting on a full two hour variety stage show themed on the period of the 50’s and 60’s on April 27 and May 3 and 4.

It is suitable for all ages and comprises of the usual mix of songs, dances and comedy.
