Jodie's West Enddream steps nearer

Talented Jodie Woolcott is a Bognor Regis dancer with the world at her feet.

She has been awarded the only full time boarding scholarship at the Arts Educational School starting in September.

The award is worth 14,000 a year and will enable Jodie to study classical ballet and character and modern dancing as well as jazz singing and drama.

She achieved the fantastic opportunity for a lifetime in entertainment after competing with several thousand other hopefuls from around the country.

Jodie's latest success occurred after she has been dancing, singing and acting at the art of dance and fitness entertainment school in South Bersted for the past eight years.

Joint principal Lisa Richards said: 'This is truly an amazing achievement and we are all very proud of her.

'I think we will see Jodie achieve some amazing things and fulfil her dream of starring in a West End show.'

Jodie has already succeeded with her talents as a brillant dancer and a singer with a wonderful voice.

She has achieved excellent examination results in ballet, modern and tap dancing as well as appearing in many art of dance and fitness shows.

Her skills have also brought her accolades such as final auditions for Mary Poppins and The Sound of Music in the West End and a scholarship for this year's Sylvia Young summer school.
