Judge for yourself

Worthing Magistrates' Court will open its doors to the public next week as part of a national campaign to demystify the justice system.

Inside Justice Week involves courts producing presentations offering advice, information and a range of free merchandise as it seeks to bring the public closer to the workings of the criminal justice system.

Visitors will be able to find out about volunteering opportunities, see how the various criminal justice agencies work together to tackle the fear of crime and even get information on career opportunities.

Sarah Jane Gallagher, Chair of Sussex Criminal Justice Board, said: "This year, Inside Justice Week has been aimed specifically at the young, the not-so-young and people from ethnic minority groups, but I would encourage people from all backgrounds to visit. "

Worthing Magistrates' Court will hold presentations on Wednesday, November 22.
