She said: I maintain my title for a year and will use it to positively work in the community within the local areas, raise awareness for charities and fund raise.

“I intend on being a positive role model to young females of today’s generation, building their confidence, self belief and inspiring others to do the same.

One of the causes that Kimbereley is supporting is Headway East Kent, a charity that provides help and day centres for those in long term rehabilitation from serious head or brain injuries.

Kimberley said: “The cause is very close to the hearts of myself and my family.

She added: “Head Injury is for many a hidden disability and because of that it is sometimes very difficult for people to understand the effects and that is why we need to raise awareness of the effects to promote a wider understanding.”

She also supports Save The Children International.

Contestants from the beauty pageant have raised nearly £40,000 for charity so far.

A spokesperson for Face of the World said: “It raises awareness and much needed funds for selected charities to help other’s dreams come true too.

“We are delighted with the response to the charity fundraising, the girls have really taken the concept to their hearts to raise such an amazing total.

The Sussex heat took place at the Bannantynes Spa Hotel at Hastings.
