Knife Killer Jailed for Life

Hastings factory worker Dellwyn James was sentenced to life imprisonment this week for killing his 19 year old formern girlfriend in a frenzied knife attack.

James, 31, of Chiltern Drive, stabbed 19 year old Rae Torbet at her Bexhill flat in March in a fit of jealous rage.

She died from 15 wounds to her face and kneck.

James was said to be unable to come to terms with splitting up with bank clerk Miss Torbet.

In jailing James, judge Richard Brown described the murder as "an act of evil".
