Large emergency response to crash in Chichester

Police officers, paramedics and firefighters are at the scene of a crash in Chichester this afternoon (Sunday, March 1).

A witness on the scene said the road is partially blocked by Chichester Festival Theatre after the collision on Broyle Road.

Two ambulance vehicles, a fire engine and a police car responded to the incident.

A spokesman for Sussex Police said the accident involved two cars and there has been 'one confirmed injury' but could not confirm its severity.

Motorists are advised to expect delays in the area.
