Called Something Good Will Come Of This, the show is a tribute to Chris Caswell.

The show will take place at 7.30pm on February 24. It is in aid of the British Heart Foundation. Tickets cost 12 from the theatre's box office on 01243 861010. Chris died in August, 2006, at the age of 36 from a heart condition having been the resident musical director at Mill Rythe Holiday Village on Hayling Island.

He studied a BA Hons degree in music at the University of Chichester's campus in Bognor. One of his friends, Victoria Walmsley, has helped to stage what will be an emotional occasion attended by Chris's parents after a journey from their Welsh home.

She said: "Chris was just so lovable. He really did touch everyone.

"That's why everyone is willing to give up their time for free to take part in the show. But it is definitely not a private show. Everyone who likes a good time is welcome to come along."

Other acts taking part provide something to suit all tastes in three hours of top-class entertainment.

They include rock and rollers Red Alert, the Yours Truly tribute act, singer Mitchell Armstrong, comedian Dave Devreaux as well as funnyman Charlie Noble.
