Lest we forget - one reader's pledge
THIS letter was sent to the Worthing Herald on Tuesday. In it, a reader makes a moving pledge.
"This morning at the Garden of Remembrance at the Town Hall War memorial I met a lady whose father was killed in World War 2 when she herself was only two-years-old, so she never knew him.
This lady helped me put my father's and uncle's remembrance crosses into the earth as there was no hammer.

Through your letters page I would like her to know I will be thinking of her on Sunday.
Your faithfully
