TRINITY AT SOUTHOVER: And St John sub Castro. Link-up is open to all women and meets on the second and fourth Thursdays each month in the Chapter House of Trinity Southover Church at 2.30pm. On Thursday Keith Gordon, will talk to us about The Palace of Westminster. We will be very pleased to welcome you. Refreshments will be served. Southover: 8am communion (prayer book); 10am Easter celebration, with choir, organ and band; 6.30pm informal Easter celebration with singers and band. Trinity voices the new choir for the over 70’s has got off to a flying start. If you are 70 or more young, love music, singing and like the idea of meeting new people while having fun, come and join our ever growing group, on Tuesdays from 11am to noon. PASSION PLAY GROUP: On Saturday March 26 from 10am to 4pm there will be a photographic display from previous Passion Plays, and showing a short video compilation from the 2015 plays in the Eastgate Church Hall, East Street. There will also be a structure placed in Cliffe precinct near Fitzroy House themed Darkness Into Light which we hope will provoke both thought and comment. JUMBLE SALE: Wallands School Annual Jumble Sale tomorrow, Saturday, 2pm to 4pm. Lots of bargains to be had at jumble prices clothes, toys, books, bric-a-brac and more. 50p entrance, free parking, cafe with homemade cakes. Donations gratefully accepted at reception between 9.30am and 2.30pm during the week.

HARD OF HEARING GROUP: The next meeting of the Lewes Hard of Hearing Support Group will be held on Monday from 10.30am to noon at Lewes House of Friendship, 208 High Street. This is an excellent opportunity to meet other hard of hearing people and to make new friends in a relaxed and welcoming environment and to learn from their personal experience of living with hearing loss. It’s also an ideal opportunity to learn some useful communication skills that will help to reduce the feeling of isolation. Free refreshments and raffle. All welcome so put a note in your diary.
