Lifeboat goes to aid of sail yacht
RYE Harbour Lifeboat was in action last Friday when it went to the aid of a stricken 32ft sail yacht at which had broken down at the Rye Fairway Buoy.
The lifeboat launched at 7.35pm and arrived alongside the casualty five minutes later towing it to Rye Harbour. The yacht was on passage from Ramsgate to the West Country at the time.
