Lifeboat scrambles after ‘distressed woman’ thought to have gone into sea at Shoreham

A spokesman for the station said: “Our all weather lifeboat was launched early this morning to a distressed woman believed to have gone into the water at #ShorehamBeach.

“She was located at the water’s edge by @ShorehamCG and taken to safety.”
