Lights shine for the hospice

The annual Christmas display of illuminated homes and gardens at Westfield has raised an impressive £8,365.27 for St. Michael’s Hospice.
The amount raised was despite the lights being targeted by vandals who smashed some displays and stole set-piece lights.
The incident caused outrage in the village and saw people rallying around to share lights with properties that had been affected.
