Lindfield children’s boutique ‘in good hands’ with new owner

Lindfield waved goodbye to ‘supernanny’ Frankie Gray following her decision to sell Harmony at Home Children’s Eco Boutique, and welcomed her successor, Claire Fisher, who plans to build on Frankie’s success.

The eco boutique, which Frankie launched in Ardingly in 2011 before moving to the Lindfield premises in 2012, increased its turnover by 92 per cent in only two years and is expected to grow a further 40 per cent in 2015 under the ownership of Claire, a former charity marketing specialist.

Whilst Frankie will be stepping aside, the boutique will retain the Harmony at Home branding and stock lines, and the team remains unchanged.

Claire, who took over from Frankie last month, said: “I really look forward to meeting the local community and what better way to do that than encouraging everyone throughout Lindfield and the surrounding areas to get creative by taking part in a fun competition.

“Lindfield is a thriving village with an abundance of character and a truly local focus, so I hope our Easter competition goes down well and I look forward to receiving the entries and meeting residents from in and around Lindfield.”

Claire has invited budding young artists aged 10 and younger to create Easter-themed artwork and hand it in before 5pm on Saturday.

Every entrant will receive a small chocolate egg with one winner receiving an Easter hamper containing goodies and activities.

The winner will be announced on April 1 and the artwork will be displayed in the window of the boutique on the High Street.

Frankie, who is the founding owner of the brand Harmony at Home, will now focus on expanding the business and supporting existing franchises, which currently include seven in the UK and overseas.

Frankie added: “It’s been a fabulous few years and in that time I have put the boutique on the map, not just amongst a local audience but also in terms of our online mail order service, too.

“Whilst we have many loyal local customers we also have customers in places as far away as New Zealand, Africa and Singapore, which leaves me in no doubt that the future of the boutique is very bright indeed.

“Claire is an accomplished marketer with lots of fresh ideas and enthusiasm and I have no doubt that the boutique is in good hands. I wish her all the best in her new venture and look forward to watching the boutique grow.”

All entrants must submit their artwork in person on A4 paper, whilst accompanied by an adult, leaving their name and contact details on the reverse.
