Littlehampton detectives release knifepoint robbery CCTV

Just before 7pm on Monday, February 14, two men stole around £180 cash from a gaming machine from bookmakers William Hill in Wick Parade, and ran off. They were seen to get into a black saloon car, believed to be a Vauxhall Corsa with two men already inside, and drove away.

The two men had come into the betting shop about half an hour earlier and were playing on a gaming machine before they threatened a woman staff member with a small knife and demanded money.

The 23-year-old was shaken but unhurt.

The man with the knife is described as being between 21 and 25, of mixed race, very skinny, about 5ft 5ins. He was wearing a black coat, black jeans and an oversized beanie hat with a t-shirt underneath his coat.

The second man is also said to be between 21 and 25 years of age, white, of medium build and about 6ft. He was wearing a blue beanie hat with a pattern, thick fat glasses, light blue jeans and a coat.
