CUSTOMERS gave a sparkling response to a bumper raffle held by a jewellery business to raise funds for a charity helping members of the armed forces wounded in action.

L Guess jewellers held its raffle, in aid of Help for Heroes, over the Christmas period at its shops in High Street, Littlehampton, and The Street, Rustington.

Sophie Guess said: “Help for Heroes is such a worthwhile charity that we really wanted to support its work and the service people it helps. Our customers obviously felt the same way.

“We raised a massive £826, which we have now sent to Help for Heroes, and would like to extend a big thank-you to all our generous customers and our suppliers, including Lovelinks, Chamilia, Skagen Watches, Hot Diamonds and Ti Sento.”
