Littlehampton’s leap year leap

February 12’s event, at 12.30pm, will see people jumping into the chilly waters of the River Arun from the red footbridge to raise funds for the Littlehampton-based charity Jamie’s Wish, which grants wishes to youg people affected by life-threatening illnesses.

Fancy dress always adds to the fun of the occasion, and spectators can seek refuge in the nearby Arun View Inn, which will be serving refreshments, and has good views of the leapers as they jump off the bridge and are then scooped up by the safety boat.
