That’s right, Littlehampton’s ever-popular Pancake Olympics is set for its almighty return next month.

The event, staged by Littlehampton Town Council and supported by Sainsbury’s and Titan Self Storage, will take place on February 14, from 11am to 1pm.

The sporting extravaganza has previously seen more than 20 teams of wannabe ‘Olympians’ return each year to battle it out for the coveted gold frying pan and £100 for a charity of their choice.

This year’s action will have a Valentine’s theme to proceedings, with squads of four taking part in three tricky disciplines: Cupid curling, flirty flipping and a romantic relay.

Town councillor Malcolm Belchamber is now urging people to sign-up to the event.

He said: “As a previous judge, I have had the privilege of meeting past participants and witnessing their boundless energy and determination to raise funds for local causes.
