Following the Off Road experience, Lord Coe took to the wheel at the historic Goodwood Motor Circuit to try his hand at high speed track driving in a performance BMW M Series, driving in the tracks of racing heroes such as Sir Stirling Moss, Sir Jackie Stewart and Jim Clark.

Lord Coe said: “I have been driving BMW’s for many years, but only on the road so I really enjoyed experiencing the power of a BMW on the famous Goodwood racing circuit as well as an off road experience in a BMW X5 through the magnificent Goodwood estate.”

Ultimate Driving at Goodwood launched in October 2014 in partnership with BMW, MINI and Michelin. It features a range of driving experiences including off road, track and young drivers.

In August this year Lord Coe was elected President of the International Association of Athletics Federations.
