“Hastings Pier has benefitted from a £14.3m lottery grant and has risen like a phoenix from the ashes following a devastating fire in 2010. Madness played at the official opening in May and The Levellers and The Happy Mondays are already booked to play this Summer.

“The town has definitely turned a corner.”
