Man and woman charged with murder of Hastings man

Sussex Police said Ben Walton, 48, and Stacey McClymont, 28, both of Cowick Hill, Exeter, Devon, are charged with murdering 37-year-old Karl sometime between December 16 and 19 last year.

Walton is also charged with two counts of possession of amphetamine - a class B drug, possessing an illegal weapon - a stun gun and possession of ammunition for a firearm without a certificate.

McClymont is charged with one count of possession of a amphetamine - a class B drug.

They are due to appear before Hastings magistrates tomorrow (Thursday, June 16).

The last confirmed sighting of Karl, was in Mann Street, Hastings, on December 17 last year.

To date Karl’s body has not been found.
