Man assaulted in Battle High Street by gang
SUSSEX Police are appealing for witnesses after a man was assaulted by four men in Battle High Street on Wednesday night.
Officers were called just after 11pm when they found the victim with injuries to his face, head and knee. It is believed that he was attacked by a group of four men. He was taken to hospital for treatment.
A police spokesperson said: “The circumstances leading up to the assault are very unclear at this stage and we are hoping that witnesses will come forward to try and piece together what happened. Anyone with information is asked to contact police on 101, serial 1900 of 5 September.”
