Man charged after A259 death crash

A BOGNOR man has appeared in court charged with causing death by dangerous driving following a fatal car crash.

Wojciech Saklak (29) of Frandor Road, Bognor appeared before Chichester magistrates charged with the offence as well as failing to stop following a collision.

He was bailed to appear at crown court on June 11 for a plea and case management hearing.

The fatal crash happened on the A259 in Felpham on Tuesday (February 24) morning at around 6.20am.

The road was closed for approximately ten hours while emergency services attended the scene.
