Man dies after fall from ladder in Hove


A Sussex Police spokesperson said: “Police were called at 11.25am on Friday (July 27) to Brunswick Street West to a report a man had fallen from a ladder.
“The man was taken to hospital and sadly died from his injuries. His next of kin has been informed.

Hide Ad“Health and Safety Executive have been informed and are working alongside officers at the scene.”


A South East Coast Ambulance Service spokesperson said: “I can confirm we were called to this incident at 11.20am today to reports a man had suffered a fall from height.
“Ambulance crews in two cars and two ambulances attended the scene.
“The man, who had suffered serious injuries, was treated before being taken to Royal Sussex County Hospital in a life-threatening condition.”
The man was reportedly working on the old Lansdowne Hotel.
