Man dies following A27 crash

A MAN died after his motorbike collided with a car on the A27 on Saturday afternoon (May 30).

The crash happened at about 1.55pm, on the eastbound carriageway between Slindon and Arundel, and involved the silver motorcycle and a red Volvo estate car.

A spokesman for Sussex police said: "The driver of the car, a local man, was taken to St Richards Hospital with a head injury.

"The rider of the motorcycle, also a local man, was transported by air

ambulance to King George Hospital in London with serious injuries where, sadly, he later died."
