Man dies in three-car Marsh Road smash

FIREFIGHTERS from Bexhill worked to free a driver from the wreckage of his vehicle after a three-car collision on Pevensey Marsh Road.

The man, believed to be in his twenties, died at the scene of last night's 11.25 smash.

His white Corsa had been in collision with a blue Toyota Corolla and a silver Rover.

Police said the driver of the Rover, also in his 20s, suffered serious injuries.

A 42 year-old Brighton man suffered slight injuries in the Rover.

Sussex Police are appealing for witnesses to contact them on 0845 6070999, quoting Operation Waller.
