Man in hospital after Faygate collision
A man has been taken to hospital after a car overturned on the A264 in Faygate yesterday evening (Tuesday October 8).
Emergency services were called to the eastbound carriageway just before 6.30pm.
The car had collided with the central reservation and left the driver trapped, said a spokesperson for West Sussex Fire and Rescue Service.
Fire crews used airbags to raise the car and freed the driver using hydraulic equipment.
He was taken to hospital.
