Man in '˜serious condition' after collapse in Worthing street

A man has been taken to hospital after collapsing in a Worthing street today, a spokesperson said.

The ambulance service were called at 12.15pm after reports that a man had collapsed in Augusta Place, the spokesperson from South East Coast Ambulance Service confirmed.

One ambulance and three paramedic cars arrived at the scene, where the man received treatment, the spokesperson said.

He was taken to Worthing hospital in a ‘serious condition’, according to the spokesperson.
