Man injured in bike crash

A 38-year-old Bognor Regis motorcyclist was in hospital with serious injuries this week.

The man was taken to St Richard's Hospital for treatment after an accident in Nyetimber.

The Suzuki 750cc motorbike he was riding collided with a Vauxhall Omega car along Pagham Road.

The car driver, a Bognor man aged 37, was also treated at hospital for slight injuries.

It took place at around 7.35pm on Monday. PC Roland Watmore, of the road policing unit at Chichester, has appealed for witnesses to contact him on 0845 60 70 999, quoting Operation Gazebo.
