Man kicked unconscious in vicious gang attack

Police are hunting a gang of men who kicked a man unconscious in Hastings. The victim was attacked in Cambridge Road, Hastings, at around 1.15am on Sunday, June 23, by a group of six men.

He was punched several times in the face and knocked to the ground by the gang of four white men and two men of mixed race before being kicked repeatedly until he passed out.

When he came around his burgundy Samsung 3 mobile phone with a smashed screen had been taken. He suffered a black eye and minor injuries to his arms and has a swollen face.

PC Anthony Clarke, of Hastings Response Investigation Team, said: “This was a vicious unprovoked attack and I would like speak to anyone who has information that could help bring these offenders to justice.”
