Man saved from drowning
A MAN was air-lifted to hospital on Monday after getting into difficulty while swimming at Winchelsea Beach.
The 38 year old had taken in water and was treated on the beach by the Rother Responders team before being air-lifted to the Conquest by the Sussex Air Ambulance helicopter which landed on the beach.
