Men are arrested after disturbance
A Bognor Regis man has appeared in court following a disturbance in a busy town centre street.
Robert New, 23, of Oak Grove, appeared at Worthing Magistrates’ Court on Monday after he was charged with grievous bodily harm with intent following an incident in Linden Road.
About 6.15pm last Friday, emergency services attended Linden Road after reports of a fight between two men.
A 22-year-old man from Worthing was also arrested on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm.
He was bailed until May 31 pending further police enquiries.
