Midhurst and Petworth firefighters battle barn blaze - In pictures

A fire at a barn containing approximately 70 tonnes of hay sparked a large emergency response last night (Monday, June 22).

Firefighters spent most of the night tackling the blaze at an agriculture building in Treyford. West Sussex Fire and Rescue Service said there were a number of adjoining buildings which ‘housed around 40 sheep in them’. All live stock were safely evacuated, the fire service confirmed.
