Miss Christmases accept cheque for hospice

Anne and Ruth were jointly voted ‘Miss Christmas’ by Curves for their enthusiasm and determination to keep fit by attending the gym.

They have lost a combined five stones and 31.5 inches in total since June.

They are pictured here with ‘Miss Christmas’ trousers which would have fitted them before joining the gym – Anne and Ruth reckon they could both squeeze inside together now.

Jerry Robinson, Curves Bexhill’s Owner, said: “Anne and Ruth have done so well and we were pleased to vote them our “Miss Christmases” for 2010.

“We were also delighted to raise money for St Michael’s Hospice again, who do such invaluable work in Hastings and Rother”.
