But he is then thought to have been seen at Beachy Head at around 5.30pm on Monday (January 18) and may have also been seen at East Dean.

Ciaran is white, 5ft 10in, with brown wavy shoulder-length hair and has grown a full beard since his most recent photo.

He is thought to have been wearing a black hooded waterproof Sprayway jacket with a logo on the chest, black-and-white trainers, and jeans.

Inspector Lee Brace, of Thames Valley Police, said, “We are very concerned for Ciaran’s welfare and would urge anyone with information or someone who might have spotted him to come forward.

“We believe he could be in the Eastbourne area or near Beachy Head.”

If you do see anyone matching Ciaran’s description or have further information you are asked to call police on 101 and ask for Thames Valley Police before quoting the reference 1027 18/1.
