A MOTORCYCLIST has been injured in a collision with a car in Broadwater.

The collision happened at 4.45pm in Queen Street, at the junction with Broadwater Road.

Motorists are advised to avoid the area as traffic is beginning to build.

The man riding the motorcycle sustained injuries and is being attended to by paramedics.

Broadwater Road is closed at that point of the accident.
