MP hails '˜best ever' Hastings jobs fair despite protest

The event at Sussex Coast College Hastings was the fifth fair Ms Rudd has helped to organise and saw nearly forty employers offering employment and apprenticeship opportunities.

Hide Ad“The fair has become a yearly highlight for me as I get to see the diverse range of good quality opportunities which are available for jobseekers in our area,” Ms Rudd said.
“I would like to thank this year’s sponsors: Hastings Direct, as well as Saga, Hastings Works, the Let’s Do Business Group, and Kurt J Lesker, for helping to make this year the best and most successful yet.”
As well as seeking to help put people looking for work in contact with local businesses with vacancies to fill, the event saw seminars on employment and training advice run alongside the exhibition.
