Murder accused appears in court

Phillip Brown, of Gainsborough Drive, Selsey, appeared before magistrates in Worthing on Wednesday, May 29.

The 45-year-old driver was charged with the murder of Debbie Levey in her home at East Ashling.

Ms Levey, whose body was found at her home on January 28, worked at the Leaholme care home in Chichester as a care scheme manager.

Brown, who spoke to confirm his name and address, was remanded in custody.

He will appear at Lewes Crown Court on Thursday, May 30, at 10am.
