Gary Holden contacted the Observer about the discovery.

He said: “It seems to be a very unusual type of cement, concrete that I have not come across before.”

Mr Holden, who estimates the footprint to be size 12, asked when was it made?

“One year ago? Ten years ago? 50 years ago? 100 years ago? 200 years ago? Or maybe even more?”

He also indicated there were signs of small shells and grain marking ‘made by wooden box’ mold.
