Nail-bitingfinish as teams battle for the title

The Arun Cribbage League had the closest finish within living memory, with half the league, theoretically, still with a chance of finishing in the winning position with four games to go.

The eventual winners, The Prince of Wales, (Woodgate) secured the league title on the last game of the match against the Elmer, with runners-up Rustington Club winning if the Prince of Wales lost, but instead finishing one point behind in the final table.
