White Hart: On the third Thursday of every month we hold a Quiz night for a local charity all are welcome , there is always a ‘special’ on offer for food. There are various groups meeting throughout the month including Boulez, The Rover group, The Harley Davidson group, T.R.Cars and The Breakaway Club, if you would like to know more about any of the dates and times or the darts and football teams please give Sean a ring on 01424 838382. The Mobile Library: will be outside the shop from 12.45 to 13.05 on Tuesday February 10.

Hearing help: The next meeting of the Battle Hard of Hearing Support Group will be held on Monday February 2, from 2pm to 3:30pm at St Martins (ground floor lounge), Mount Street, Battle, TN33 0DR. This is an excellent opportunity to meet other hard of hearing people and to make new friends in a relaxed and welcoming environment and to learn from their personal experience of living with hearing loss. It’s also an ideal opportunity to learn some useful communication skills that will help to reduce the feeling of isolation. Free refreshments and raffle. All welcome so put a note in your diary.
