Netherfield Church - The first service for the month is Sunday August 4 and will be a non-Eucharist Family Service at Netherfield at 10am. The services will then follow the, now usual schedule, of Brightling, Mountfield and Netherfield for Holy Communions.

Last Saturday’s coffee morning at Oak Lodge, Saxonwood Road, Battle was blessed with good weather with the threatening storms holding off until the afternoon thankfully. There was a good turnout with visitors making the most of the book and bring and buy stalls. The competition based on the Kings and Queens of England kept everyone thinking over their coffee. Our thanks to Jane and John Chater for hosting it, to all the helpers for their work and for your support in attending. More than £250 was raised for church funds. Paul Smith, Churchwarden.
