Netherfield Church –The first service in March, this Sunday, will be a non-Eucharist Family Service held at Mountfield. Thereafter services will follow the usual format of Holy Communions at Brightling on Sunday March 10, Mountfield on Sunday March 17 and Netherfield on Sunday March 24. Services are at 10 am.

Advance notice that we shall be holding our annual Spring Fair on Saturday March 23 in the church. Full details will be advised nearer the time but this is so people can start to think about any donations of produce, possibly plants if the weather relents at all, books, bric a brac etc. We will also be happy should you want to have a stall at the event, in which case please contact me. WHITE HART - Thursday March 21 we are holding a Quiz Night in aid of 1066 Cycle Group the charge is £2.50 per person, 4 or 6 players per team. Please come along and help raise money for a worthy cause. Every month on the Third Thursday we hold an annual Quiz, always for a local cause, please if you can come along then do, its very hard for organisations to raise money the next quiz is to raise money for our local Church in Netherfield.

On Monday the ladies played the White Hart at Wadhurst in the cup which is played over 2 legs in the first leg the ladies won 7-4 with wins for Debbie, Marie Colvin, Sarah Hunter, in the doubles Jane Beeden / Mandy Saunters and Marie Colvin / Coral Giles and in the trebles Marie Colvin / Coral Giles / Debbie.

On Wednesday the ladies played a rearranged darts match against The White Hart at Wadhurst the ladies won 6-5 with wins for Coral Giles and Mandy Saunters in the singles in the doubles wins for Jane Beeden / Sarah Hunter and Debbie / Coral Giles in the trebles Mandy Saunters / Lou Saunters / Jane Beeden and finally Debbie / Marie Colvin / Coral Giles.

On Saturday March 16 we have an Irish Night with live music from The Ballyregan Boys, local lads from the area, we also have the McManigan Irish school of dancers coming to perform and as it is Red nose Day on the 15th the girls are collecting for the CHARITY as well. ALL are welcome food being served from 6 till 9pm.

On Tuesday the 16th April the stoolball are holding their Annual Meeting. ALL are welcome the meeting starts at 8pm sharp at The White Hart.

There are various groups meeting throughout the month including Boules, The Rover group, The Harley Davidson group, T.R.Cars and The Breakaway Club, if you would like to know more about any of the dates and times or the darts and football teams please give Sean a ring on 01424 838382. White Hart Boules Pitch. The pieste is free to use, any clubs please feel free to come and use the pieste, FOC any time except match days which are Saturday afternoons throughout the season.
