SNOW: Bit of a surprise to wake up Sunday to snow, and thankfully it is now cold which has been a long time coming this year and we are grateful the rain has stopped. I hope our residents are all keeping warm and have well stocked larders just in case. I remember my childhood home in Middle Way had a larder but when I married and moved to North Way we did away with the large walk in cupboards and extended the lounge which I know is what a lot of people did. That's progress I suppose.
