New award for Battle Bake House

In a second honour for the firm, it was announced on Wednesday that Battle Bake House has won a coveted listing at Sainsbury's via the supermarket's Supply Something New initiative.

The supermarket was so impressed by the company's range of home-made cakes that, from this week, three of the range will be available in 60 Sainsbury's stores nationwide, including Tunbridge Wells and Tonbridge.

The Supply Something New scheme was launched by Sainsbury's last year and sees representatives from Sainsbury's take to the road every month in search of innovative products, making it easier for new suppliers to gain business access to the retailer.

*Chocolate and Beetroot

*Carrot
