New Bognor Regis gym plan rejected

Farheed Khamlichi wanted to open a gym at the Durban Business Centre in Durban Road.
But Arun District Council planning officer Richard Temple refused planning permission because he said the scheme would cost storage and distribution jobs in future potential occupiers of the unit.

Hide AdHis report says the council’s policy is to safeguard employment space where there remains a good prospect of it being used for create jobs.
Mr Khamlichi was among the users of Fitness First in the Bognor Regis Business Park before it closed last spring who sought to create a new gym.
