New Hastings MP holds a McSurgery

The new MP for Hastings is holding her first drop-in session this week '“at McDonald's.

Michael Foster was well known for his 'supermarket surgeries' and his Conservative replacement is keen to carry on making politics as accessible as possible for local people.

Amber Rudd '“ who won last week's election with more than 20,000 voters '“ will be in the town centre fast-foot joint today (Friday) between 11.30am and 1pm.

She said: "I am looking forward to meeting people. There are no need for appointments and anyone with any questions should come down."
