New mural for Amberley Station

The mural at Amberley Station has now been launched.

The newly installed Amberley Mural, which was designed by the participants of the Aldingbourne Trust Creative Arts Studio in Bognor Regis, was commissioned by Sussex Community Rail Partnership.

Veronica Payne from Sussex Community Rail Partnership said: “The mural is very impressive and really brightens up the station.

“The quality of the work is incredible.”

Susan Harris, a student at the Creative Arts Studio, said: “We really enjoyed painting the mural, it looks really good - we are very proud of what we have achieved.

“It is nice to think lots of people will see it at Amberley Station - it was a lovely project to be part of with Southern Rail.”

The project was funded by the South Downs National Park Authority though the Local Sustainable Travel Fund.
