The ‘Report it Eastbourne’ app gives people an easy way to report environmental issues they see while out and about.

Users of the app simply take a picture on their mobile of the offending rubbish, dog mess or graffiti and the image is instantly sent to Eastbourne Borough Council’s Customer First Team for resolution, saving time and money.

The exact location is sent using GPS co-ordinates allowing the team to follow up on the report.

Steve Wallis, Cabinet Member for Place Services at Eastbourne Borough Council, said, “I would encourage residents to download the ‘Report It Eastbourne’ app onto their smartphones and use it when they are out and about.

“I’m proud that as a council we are utilising the latest technology to help keep the town clean and making sure our services are as efficient as possible.”

The app is available from The App Store, Google Play or online at www.lovecleanstreets.com
